What changed at Synthflow on September 15, 2026, and what it means for agencies.

UpdateBy CenterfyUpdated

The short answer

Synthflow removed in-product reselling on September 15, 2026. According to its own documentation, three things went away: custom pricing plans, the Stripe integration that charged your clients, and the Plan & Billing and Usage pages inside each subaccount. Client subscriptions that were collected through Synthflow stopped working. This is a billing change, not a shutdown: your own Synthflow subscription, your minute pool, your subaccounts, branding, custom domain and agents are unchanged. What is different is that charging clients, tracking their overage and working out your margin are now your job, in your own Stripe account or billing system.

What Synthflow's documentation says

Synthflow published a reselling page in its documentation that explains the removal. We read it, together with the related Stripe, pricing, subaccount, limits and billing pages, on November 5, 2026. Everything in this table comes from those pages.

What was removedIn-product reselling: creating pricing plans in Synthflow, connecting Stripe and billing subaccounts automatically.
Pricing plansThe Pricing Plans page under Settings, Partner is gone. Plans no longer drive billing, limits or automatic plan behaviour.
StripeStripe accounts connected for reselling were disconnected, and a new connection is no longer possible.
Subaccount pagesSubaccounts no longer have Plan & Billing or Usage pages under Workspace Settings.
Client subscriptionsSubscriptions collected through Synthflow stopped working.
Minute top-upsSynthflow no longer buys or tops up minutes for a subaccount from a pricing plan.
Other names for it“Custom pricing” and “Connected Accounts” refer to the same feature.

What did not change

  • Your own Synthflow account. Your plan, your invoices and the minute pool on your parent account did not change because of this removal.
  • Subaccounts. Each client still has a separate workspace with its own agents, contacts, phone numbers and call history.
  • Branding and domain. Your agency name, logo, brand colour and custom domain continue to work.
  • Permissions and products. You still decide which features each subaccount sees, and you can still push agents, workflows and actions into client workspaces.
  • Usage caps. Limits & Capabilities still sets included minutes, concurrent calls, agent counts and workflow runs for each subaccount. Synthflow now describes it as the primary way to cap subaccount usage.

Who is affected

Synthflow's page is specific. You are affected if you connected your own Stripe account to Synthflow and billed clients through its custom pricing tiers. You are not affected if you manage subaccounts without custom pricing plans, for example because you already invoice clients yourself.

What to do next

Synthflow's own list has four steps, and they apply whether you stay or move:

  1. Find the affected subaccounts, including any that were on trials or usage-based overage.
  2. Recreate billing for those clients in your own Stripe products and subscriptions, invoices or another system.
  3. Set the minute and concurrency caps you want in Limits & Capabilities, because plan limits no longer apply.
  4. Put usage tracking in place so you can invoice overage yourself.

After that, the question is whether you want to keep running billing by hand. Replacing Synthflow rebilling sets out the three ways to do it, and Synthflow alternatives for agencies compares staying with moving.

Frequently asked questions

Did Synthflow shut down?

No. Synthflow removed in-product reselling on September 15, 2026. Its documentation says your own Synthflow subscription and minute pool are unchanged, and that subaccounts, permissions, branding, custom domains and products continue to work. Only billing your clients through Synthflow went away.

What exactly did Synthflow remove?

Three things, according to its documentation: custom pricing plans, the Stripe integration used for reselling, and the Plan & Billing and Usage pages for subaccounts. As a result, client subscriptions collected through Synthflow stopped working and minutes are no longer topped up from a pricing plan.

Is my Stripe account still connected to Synthflow?

No. Synthflow's documentation says Stripe accounts connected for reselling were disconnected after September 15, 2026 and that you can no longer connect one. Your Stripe account itself is untouched; you manage client billing in it directly.

Are my clients still being charged?

Check in Stripe rather than assuming. Synthflow says subscriptions collected through Synthflow “stopped working”, and tells you to review the customer subscriptions in your own Stripe account and recreate billing there if you still want to charge those clients.

Did my own Synthflow plan or pricing change?

Not because of this. Synthflow's documentation says removing reselling did not change your plan, pricing or parent minute pool. Your own terms are whatever your agreement and your Plan & Billing page say.

Can I still run an agency on Synthflow?

Yes. Synthflow's Stripe page answers this directly: subaccounts, permissions, branding, products and limits work as before. What you need to add is your own way to charge clients and to track their usage.

Why did Synthflow remove reselling?

Synthflow's documentation does not give a reason, and we are not going to guess. The practical effect is what matters to an agency: client billing is now handled outside Synthflow.

Where do my clients see their plan and usage now?

Not in Synthflow. The Plan & Billing and Usage pages were removed for subaccounts. Synthflow suggests pulling usage through its API or webhooks and showing it in your own billing system or client portal.
