Replacing SimpleTalk in GoHighLevel: keep your sub-accounts, workflows and calendars.

MigrateBy CenterfyUpdated

The short answer

SimpleTalk was a layer on top of GoHighLevel, so most of what you built is still in your GoHighLevel locations: the prompt (a custom value), the contacts and tags, the calendars and the workflows. Centerfy's CRM is itself built on GoHighLevel, and the White Label plan installs into your own agency, so the replacement keeps your sub-account structure. What changes is the voice engine, the phone number connection and the webhook your workflows call to start a call.

For agencies: replacing SimpleTalk across many sub-accounts

Most SimpleTalk resellers ran one location per client. Centerfy's White Label plan mirrors that: a workspace under your own branding, a sub-account per client, usage rebilled at your markup, and the whole thing installed into your own GoHighLevel agency so nothing about your client structure changes. White Label also lets you bring your own API keys at cost price and comes with a dedicated account manager.

  1. Inventory every client location: numbers and carrier account, prompt saved or not, calendars, workflows that call SimpleTalk, monthly minutes.
  2. Order by inbound call volume and migrate in that order. Those clients are losing the most.
  3. Create a sub-account per client in your Centerfy workspace. Share each prompt with onboarding; Centerfy's team builds the agents.
  4. Import each client's Twilio numbers from their own Twilio account, or yours if you hold the numbers for them.
  5. Replace the SimpleTalk webhook step in each client's workflows, run the six test scenarios, and switch.
  6. Set your rebilling markup on calls and messages. Usage is billed to you at wholesale rates shown in your agency dashboard.

For a single business on GoHighLevel

If you want to keep running your own GoHighLevel agency, you need the White Label plan; that is the plan that installs into your agency. On Starter and Unlimited, Centerfy provides the CRM, which is built on GoHighLevel: you export contacts from your location, import them into Centerfy, recreate the calendars and connect the same Twilio numbers. Either way the agent is built for you from your prompt.

Replacing the SimpleTalk webhook in your workflows

SimpleTalk's documentation described starting outbound calls from a GoHighLevel workflow by posting to its API with a client ID. Those posts now fail. Centerfy exposes an API, webhooks, a CLI, an SDK and an MCP server for agents, calls, contacts and calendars; the equivalent step is a webhook or API call that starts a Centerfy call for the contact. Your onboarding coach sets it up, and the developer documentation covers it if you prefer to do it yourself.

Frequently asked questions

Does Centerfy work with GoHighLevel?

Yes. Centerfy's CRM is built on GoHighLevel, and the White Label plan installs Centerfy into your own GoHighLevel agency. Contacts, tags, calendars and workflows keep working; the agent reads and writes them.

Can I keep my GoHighLevel sub-accounts after SimpleTalk?

Yes, on the White Label plan: the workspace installs into your own agency, each client stays a sub-account, and you rebill usage at your markup. Only the steps that called SimpleTalk are replaced.

Where is my SimpleTalk prompt?

In the GoHighLevel location, under Settings and Custom Values. SimpleTalk stored the agent prompt there. Copy it into a document now; it becomes the instructions for the Centerfy agent.

Do my GoHighLevel workflows need rebuilding?

Only the steps that posted to SimpleTalk's webhook to start calls or texts. Pause those now, then replace them with a webhook or API call to Centerfy. Everything else in the workflow stays.

How does agency rebilling work with Centerfy?

Usage is billed to the agency at the wholesale rates shown in the agency dashboard, and you set the markup your clients pay. AI voice calls cost between seven and ten cents a minute at wholesale depending on your plan, as published in Centerfy's FAQ.

Can I use HighLevel's native Voice AI instead of a third party?

Yes, if you want to configure the agent, numbers and workflows yourself inside HighLevel. Check AI plan eligibility, outbound availability and per-minute pricing on your plan. Nothing from SimpleTalk carries over automatically to either option; both start from your saved prompt.

Do I need a developer to replace SimpleTalk in GoHighLevel?

No. Centerfy's team builds the agent and the connections, and the onboarding coach replaces the webhook step with you. The developer documentation is there if you prefer to wire it yourself.
